Stage Fort Press

Welcome to the blog formerly known as Fattybirdpress. I wanted to start fresh and thus the new name. I live fairly close to historic Stage Fort Park in Gloucester, Massachusetts..."They that go down to the sea in ships", etc.

As the park is a place I go to regularly for inspiration, I chose to rename my hand made prints publishing company, "Stage Fort Press". My desire and intention is to post written reflections on the angst's and inspirations involved in making art.

A side note...Did you know E.B. White's, "Elements of Style" comes in an audio book format and is narrated by the beloved Frank McCourt?
